Amanda Ayshford MNAEA
Director
Amanda has been working in Estate Agency, handling the sale of Residential property in the Torbay area since 1990 and is also well known for working at an Independent Estate Agent in Preston, Paignton for a number of years. She has extensive experience and knowledge of the local area.
She is enthusiastic and brings a fresh approach to the estate agency business, and is also a member of Propertymark with a NFOPP Level 3 Qualification in the Sale of Residential Property.
Amanda was born and raised in Paignton and has lived in the Preston and Paignton area her whole life. She enjoys time with her family, and going for walks with their dogs Millie and Poppy.
Oscar Hunt
Sales Negotiator/Valuer
Oscar is a driven and results-focused property professional with over ten years’ experience in sales. Having started his career in Sydney, Australia, he later returned to his hometown in Devon.
Having spent much of his twenties living abroad, Oscar gained valuable experience working in fast-paced sales environments and meeting people from a wide range of backgrounds. On returning to Devon, he began his career in Estate Agency, combining his sales experience with his knowledge and appreciation of the local area.
Oscar is delighted to now be part of Amanda Ayshford and looks forward to bringing his experience, enthusiasm and professional approach to the business.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time by the beach, in the gym or exploring the beautiful coastline and countryside Devon has to offer!
Alison Hand
Sales Administrator
Alison has previously worked for an estate agency in Paignton for many years and has undertaken various roles from property lettings to office administrator, sales negotiator undertaking viewings and negotiations to market appraisals.
She was with a reputable local estate agency since they started the business and is very experienced with their systems and work practices. She was responsible for the management of the office and ensuring smooth transition from initial client enquiry to full marketing and all associated system and administrative procedures.
Alison is married and has two children and she enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, padel and enjoys walking and spending time with her family and friends.
Helen Holgate BA (HONS)
Sales Negotiator
Helen is a local lady, who has been involved in property her whole career. Starting work with conveyancing Solicitors in Newton Abbot, then moving to Estate Agency until the 1990's when she was involved in the development of affordable homes for local families. She then returned to Estate Agency in 2012, since when she has been dealing with both the selling and letting of properties.
She has a BA (Hons) degree in Housing and Development, gaining valuable insight into the local property market during her long years working in The Bay.
Helen has herself recently experienced the challenges of the process of selling and buying a new home and appreciates the support required during these transactions. She offers empathy and understanding throughout this important and sometimes demanding journey.
Belinda Nicholas
Sales Administrator
Belinda, who is new to the team, worked in Social Housing, at the beginning of her career for Devon Community Housing Society (now Guiness Trust), Exeter City Council and Teignbridge District Council, achieving a Diploma in Housing Studies, and Chartered Institute of Housing membership. Belinda took a career change and worked as an Administrator and Senior Administrator for Devon County Council for 23 years, and more recently worked as a Senior Administrator for South Devon College.
Having recently sold and bought a property, Belinda understands the process from a vendor/buyer’s perspective, and appreciates the empathy and support that is required during these processes.
In her spare time, Belinda enjoys walking her two dogs, swimming, and hopes to learn paddle boarding soon.
Nikki Weston
Viewing Associate
Having gained several years of experience across all aspects of estate agency, Nikki brings a calm and experienced perspective to a busy environment. She focuses on what she does best — building genuine relationships with customers and providing clear communication throughout their journey.
Her aim is to provide dedicated part-time support to the team while helping maintain the high standards of service they are known for.
Sophie Burnell
Sales Negotiator
Sophie is a friendly and enthusiastic estate agent with nearly five years’ experience in the property industry. She particularly enjoys helping people find their dream homes and being part of such an exciting chapter in their lives.
Living locally in Kingswear, Sophie has a real appreciation for the area and the lifestyle it has to offer. Outside of work, she enjoys helping her dad on the family dairy farm, as well as looking after her own small flock of sheep.
Sophie is also a keen rugby player and has played for Brixham Sirens for the past two seasons. When she’s not working or on the farm, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog, Willow, often heading out for long walks and making the most of the beautiful countryside and coastline.
Sophie is delighted to be part of the team and looks forward to bringing her experience, friendly approach and passion for helping people to the business.
